As part of our Girls Empowerment Programme (kindly funded by many of you through the Big Give Christmas Campaign in Dec 2024 and a generous funder) we are been busy improving the infrastructure at two schools in Rugin.
Bageshwari High School, Rugin is getting some new toilets for girls and boys including a sanitary pad disposal facility. We are pleased to say the septic tank and main structure is completed, while plastering, plumbing, and painting are just starting. Our engineering technician, says the work is expected to be completed within the next couple of weeks.
At Kulmastajan Basic School, Kyudi we have installed a Drinking Water Facility with tank and taps which is nearly complete we just some plastering to complete.
As there is a small amount of money left we are likely to be able to install water drinking facilities at a third school.
