The Big Give 2025- Supporting Jair Health Post

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT

Donate through PHASE Worldwide’s Big Give appeal page (not our website) between 25th April (at 12 noon) to the 8th May 2025 and your gift will be matched through the Big Give Match Fund (or until match funds run out)!

The money we raise will support the Jair Health Post, in Far West Nepal which provides healthcare for over 2000 people.

Jair is one of the most remote districts in Nepal, with an incomplete road which is often blocked during winter. Without us being there, women would not have access to basic antenatal care during pregnancy or a safe place to deliver their baby. Malnourished children would not be identified and treated.

With your support we aim to…

  • Increase the proportion of births attended by a health worker.
  • Increase the proportion of pregnancies that get to full term where the mother has attended antenatal care at least 8 times.
  • Increase the number of consultations in the health centres.
  • Increase the number of screenings of children under 5 for malnutrition.
  • Implement sustainability plans to be able to phase out support in the next 3 years.
