There are no shortage of diverse jobs in the PHASE office and at our events so we can find a role for anyone who is interested, whether you have just one or two hours to spare or a few days a week – you can even volunteer from home! The only qualifications you need are energy and enthusiasm!  PHASE have offices in South Yorkshire and Bristol.

Drop Sarah an email at sarah@phaseworldwide.org if you are interested.

Some specific roles we are currently looking to fill:

Trustee with fundraising experience

PHASE Worldwide – a UK registered charity based in Bristol – is growing fast and is at an exciting stage of development, we have had a full time UK director for four years now and a fundraising manager and a communications manager for the last year.

PHASE (Practical Help Achieving Self Empowerment) is currently focused on improving health, education and livelihood opportunities for disadvantaged populations in extremely isolated Nepalese Himalayan villages.  Our charity is driven by empowerment, aiming to support very remote communities who have no access to basic services and would like practical help to achieve this.

Our new Trustee will be a people-person, someone who is well-connected, inspiring, outgoing, positive and visionary.  They will be able to mobilise their networks and have proven success in their chosen field of work.  They may have a background in generating finance and the skills, energy, innovation, links and determination to actively generate funds.

Our existing six Trustees volunteer their time, bring a wealth of experience and are hugely committed to our work – we are looking for someone equally dynamic to help us steer PHASE.  We have ambitious plans, so this role offers an exciting challenge to a Trustee who will be involved in all aspects of management and strategic decision making for a charity working both locally and internationally.

The board meets four to six times a year at weekends.  This role is un-remunerated.

To apply please e-mail Sarah Galvin, Director – sarah@phaseworldwide.org.

We have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Global Giving and want to increase our support through these channels. This is the ideal role for anyone seeking experience in social media and campaigns in the charity sector.

We offer our volunteers a supportive environment where they are engaged with the charity and able to learn new skills – we are happy to discuss your specific role based on areas of interest.

Tasks as part of the basic role may involve:
