Nepal Impact Marathon: 12th – 18th November 2018

In the past two years more than 120 runners have joined in Nepal from all over the globe with one shared goal – to run the Nepal Impact Marathon. Staying in probably one of the best positioned Athletes’ Village in the world (the views are off the chart!), set in the shadows of the Himalaya, our runners make a difference – to their own lives, to their fellow runners’ lives and to the projects and communities we support in Nepal. With three distances, this event is suitable for all abilities so everyone is welcome to join!

Together, so far it has raised more than…

And in November 2018, we’re going to do it all again. The question is – WILL YOU BE JOINING US?

You’ll spend seven days in Nepal, visiting a PHASE project, getting fully involved in a community project, relaxing in the Athletes’ Village in Kakani and running either a 42km, 21km or 10km race that will stretch you to your limits.

MON: Arrive into Kathmandu

TUE: Possibility to visit the PHASE office/ PHASE project, travel to Athletes Village in the eve

WED: Start work on the community project

THU: Day two of our community work

FRI: Rest and relaxation

SAT: Race day! Line up alongside hundreds of Nepalis and ex-pats

SUN: Departure day

We’ve joined forces with the UN Global Goals to channel funds into projects that support Quality Education, Gender Equality and Clean Water and Sanitation. You’ll raise funds for the goal of your choice and the fundraising will be distributed between each of those goal’s charities. This year we aim to raise £200,000.

The Race
There are three race routes to choose from – 42km, 21km and 10km. So it really doesn’t matter if you’re one of those people seen daily pounding the streets around your home or whether this will be the first race you’ve ever run. We’re running together. That’s the main thing.
